I create a visual representation of space through color and line. The hand drawn line and personal colors develop a pattern that emerges and simultaneously breaks down. I utilize this pattern to demonstrate flatness yet its disjunction to create space. The work straddles the divide between decorative and expressive, between the physical space we inhabit and the space we know exists beyond our full comprehension.
